Cultivating Strengths
At NeuroBloom Development, we help neurodivergent individuals discover their strengths, build practical life skills, and navigate meaningful paths toward independence. Through strengths-based coaching, skill-building workshops, and the PATH™ Framework, we support individuals navigating autism, ADHD, and executive functioning challenges across life, learning, and career.
At NeuroBloom Development, we recognize that growth is not one-size-fits-all. Through the PATH™ Framework, we help individuals navigating autism, ADHD, and executive functioning challenges develop self-awareness, strengthen practical life skills, and move forward with confidence and independence.

FAQs
-
Neurodiversity refers to the range of differences in individual brain function and behavioral traits. The term is often used in the context of conditions like autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, dyslexia, and other neurological or developmental differences. Rather than viewing these differences as deficits, the neurodiversity movement promotes acceptance, inclusion, and the idea that diverse ways of thinking and learning should be embraced.
-
Absolutely not. There are many things we can work on while you are working with professionals to get a formal diagnosis, and you may also decide you don’t want one, which is perfectly fine, too. There is no one correct answer that is right for everyone.

Therapy, counseling, and coaching all aim to support personal growth, but they differ in focus, approach, and goals:
Therapy or counseling is designed to help individuals heal from past experiences, manage mental health conditions, and develop coping strategies. Therapists are trained professionals who diagnose and treat psychological disorders, often exploring past traumas and emotional challenges to improve overall well-being.
Coaching, on the other hand, is future-focused and goal-oriented, helping individuals enhance performance, achieve personal or professional aspirations, and develop skills. Coaches do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions; instead, they guide clients in identifying strengths, setting goals, and creating action plans.
A simple way to think about it: therapy helps you understand and heal, while coaching empowers you to act and grow.

Coaching differs from therapy in that it does not require a license, but Michela Vernon brings strong credentials and experience to her practice. She is a certified Autism Life Coach through the Association for Autism and Neurodiversity (AANE), whose LifeMAP program has supported more than 3,000 teens and adults on the autism spectrum over 16 years. She also holds an ACRE certification in employment services for people with disabilities and is completing her International Coaching Federation (ICF). Most importantly, Michela’s coaching is grounded in years of working directly with neurodiverse individuals and collaborating with medical professionals who have supported her own family.

Our services are designed for neurodiverse individuals from young adulthood to later life stages who seek support in navigating daily challenges, achieving personal goals, and enhancing their overall well-being. We also offer resources for parents and caregivers.

Coaching works best when both coach and client are fully engaged. While the average coaching relationship lasts about six months, progress depends on your goals and the effort you put in between sessions. A coach can guide and support, but your commitment drives success. We recommend starting with at least eight sessions to see meaningful results.
